David founded the BrandMakers in 2008 following career recognition as an inimitable design talent and a trajectory that included the following roles: Vice President of Corporate and Creative Services at Motown–where he was responsible for the branding of both the legendary company and artists like Queen Latifah, Johnny Gill, and Boyz II Men, and managed to earn a spot on the Grammy’s Shortlist for his design of the Marvin Gaye boxed set, “Vulnerable”–Creative Director of both Vibe and Blaze Magazines, Design Director for Madison Square Garden Brands, and Associate Creative Director at the UniWorld Group where he was known for highly conceptual and original communication solutions for the US Marines Corps, Ford Motor Company, Colgate-Palmolive, AT&T, Microsoft, Time Warner Cable, and many others brands.
David can usually be found with a stimulating autobiography in hand and his toddler son, Jackson, under foot. He is a graduate of Parsons School of Design with a BFA in Communication Design.
Karina applies process, logic, and the eternally expedient question, “why?” to all of her work. She first learned to leverage consumer insights to provide quantifiable results at Young & Rubicam for such clients as Abbott Labs, Aventis, Altria Group, and SunTrust. At McCann Erikson, Karina made use of her bilingual and bicultural proficiencies while managing the North America and Latin American ExxonMobil Lubricants account. She oversaw day-to-day operations, including the implementation of new global initiatives and adaptation of brand identities across three lines of ExxonMobil business (personal, commercial, and industrial). Working with ExxonMobil, a corporation known for its relentless focus on efficiency and performance, continues to inform Karina’s analytical management style today.
Karina became expert in activating multicultural consumer segments while at SpikeDDB and Brand Asset Group where she executed successful consumer entertainment strategies for global initiatives like the FIFA 2010 World Cup and the 2011 Red Bull Music Academy Concert Tour.
In her free time, Karina seeks out new adventures big and small, whether its discovering a new greasy spoon in upstate NY, drinking Rakia with the locals in Croatia, or paragliding in Peru.

Angela is a creative problem solver. She is a highly accomplished manager with proven results conceiving and executing successful initiatives that meet or exceed success metrics. Clients appreciate Angela’s understanding of the entire marketing mix courtesy of her early training at Procter & Gamble in Supply Chain Management. She has driven organizational and creative excellence in advertising and marketing communications for more than two decades at McCann Erickson(Copywriter), Spike DDB (Associate Creative Director), UniWorld Group (Group Creative Director), Prime Access (Executive Creative Director) and her own creative resource group, Target Smarts. She has developed successful efforts for numerous Fortune 100 brands across a range of industries including pharmaceutical, financial services, beauty and personal care, consumer package goods, QSR, and automotive and has been recognized with numerous honors throughout her career.
Don’t be surprised if Angela happens to drop some knowledge about the food on your plate. She’s passionate about education and health and wellness and is the creator of the Food Discovery Fun Labs, an early childhood nutrition and fitness initiative. Angela has a BS in Industrial Management from Georgia Institute of Technology.
